The Laney 65D utilises 2 x 8" Custom co-axial drivers housed in a combo chassis that produces an RMS power rating of 65 watts, decked out in a warm brown covering with black metal corners and a smooth curved metal speaker grille. It has a variety of inputs and outputs including two channels - 1 for an instrument and a secondary aux or microphone input. Channel 1 has both Lo and Hi EQ whilst channel 2 has 4 band Graphic EQ plus anti-feedback circuitry ... Laney have included a couple of handy digital effects on this combo and include Reverb and Chorus, the chorus control has a parameter known as "Shimmer" which helps to enhance the high end frequencies when the chorus is in use. There's also an XLR direct out and headphone out on the rear of the combo along with an FX loop.
